Monika Geiger

Hello! My name is Monika Geiger and I am an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. I live locally with my husband and our two children. They keep us busy!

I attended the University of La Verne for my Bachelor’s Degree, and have a credential in Early Childhood Special Education
, as well as a Master of Arts in Education from Cal State San Bernardino. This is my 10th year teaching full inclusion preschool. It is wonderful to teach in the district where I grew up!

I am pleased to welcome you to the 2023 -2024 school year! I am looking forward to having your child as a student.

Preschool is such a fun year with so many wonderful learning opportunities. It is a time for discovering new skills and opening the door to a whole new world of learning. The preschool curriculum is designed to address all areas of development and to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners. Children are active learners, constantly touching, trying, moving, talking, drawing, and questioning. Throughout the day, your child will have opportunities to explore, investigate, and predict.

I believe each child is a unique person with an individual pattern of growth and development. Different levels of ability and learning styles are expected, accepted and used to design appropriate activities to develop your child’s academic skills and self-esteem. My priorities for our students are to foster a love of school, help them bloom socially and emotionally, and prepare them for TK/Kindergarten! It is my hope that you will support and encourage this vision at home.
